HAA held in Hargeisa training course for 60 teachers
Horn of Africa Aid Foundation organized in Hargeisa training course for 60 teachers of Islamic education and Arabic language from various educational institutions in Somaliland.
Among the educational institutions which their teachers participated in the training Hodhod for National Education, the Horn of Africa Charity Foundation, Masna, Horn of Africa; within the framework of educational staff development programs that are performed periodically in the region.
The training continued for five days in the period from 25 to 29 of August at Saba hotel in Hargeisa, capital of Somaliland under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Sheikh Ahmed Regional Manager of Horn of Africa Aid, and Professor Abdul Rashid Yusuf Jahanok regional director, and attended by intellectuals and senior officials, including Sheikh Khalil Abdullah Ahmed, Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, as well as officials from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Somaliland.
The Regional Manager of Horn of Africa, Dr. Mohamed Sheikh Ahmed, in a speech at the closing ceremony said ”it is no doubt that this training an incentive to raise the level of performance in teaching Arabic and Islamic education, and we hope that we organize similar courses from our belief that whatever we have developed courses and we have prepared plans and programs without to raise the professional competence of the teacher’s efforts to reform and change in the educational field are less effective.
On his part, head of the Office of the Horn of Africa Foundation in Somaliland Mr. Abdul Rashid Yusuf Jahanok pleased to organize this session institution that benefited a large number of the target population.
Officially, said the Minister of Awqaf, Sheikh Khalil – in the word delivered at the end of the session – this session distinct aimed at graduating teacher Excellence is the first of its kind in terms of the level, the minister added that this session as a good opportunity to raise the morale of teachers Arabic and Islamic education.
At the end of the ceremony, the Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs in the Department of Somaliland and the Regional Director of Horn of Africa Foundation honoured the participants and provide them with certificates of appreciation.
And such courses are held from time to time a positive step forward for the development of performance and raise the level of charge of the educational process at various levels.
