Salahuddin Primary School in Lasanod

Salahuddin Primary School is located in the city of Las Anod, the capital city of Sool region in northern Somalia. This school is a high standard school in the city and benefits hundreds of students and uses two separate buildings that were originally planned for family housing.

 

School Achievements

 

1. To accommodate the increasing number of students the school has been expanded after adding a new building next to the old building.

2. Some classes and the school office have been refurbished and renovated.

3. New teachers have been recruited.

 

School Needs

1. Finding new school building that can cope with the school requirement and can accommodate all classes and students needed in the school.

2. Refurnishing the remaining classes of the school because the old furniture is not suitable to be used in the school environment.

3. Supplying the school with equipments and tools that can help to fulfil its mission, including computers and other teaching aids.

4. Training teachers and administrative staff in the school.

5. Strengthening the school extra-curricular activities and strengthening student talents.
